Purpose of PunishmentThe role of punishment in society is not about hurting the criminal. It is about rehabilitating them and enabling them to give something back to society. Why do we have angsty people proclaiming that we have no freedom, that we are controlled by the media, and that Western Governments are all tryannies?!
